I had both of my children naturally. I couldn't have an epidural due to previous surgery on my back. I opted not to have pain meds through my IV because of the effects it could have on the baby. It hurt alot but I got through it and my husband had the most respect for me that I had ever seen. I had his children naturally with no pain meds. Unfortuently I couldn't breast feed my fist child because she was a premie and couldn't nurse, by the time she could she had no intrest in the breast. I pumped milk for the first 6 months to give her what she needed through the bottle but breast fed my 2nd child the entire time since he latched on great from day one. More women should do it naturally , it hurts but is well worth it you will appreciate your children more.

You can't tell a woman what she can do you psycho. It's her body. I used painkillers and I didn't breastfeed and my baby is perfect. Who cares about it being faster? The key thing was that I had no pain whatsoever. I'd sit there all day with the epidural if that's what I had to do. It felt like nothing.Plus if the doctors think that you shouldn't take it or you're too far into labor to take it they'll tell you so and won't give it to you. If the doctors say so then that's fine, but if some man told me I couldn't he better back the **** up real quick like! Give me my pain killers and if any man tried to tell me no I'd kick his ***! Anyways most of the time it's the man who freaks out if the woman doesn't take the painkillers. I've heard friends tell me their husbands were begging them to take them because they couldn't stand to see them in pain or either they were tired of getting cussed out.

I'm not a lady. On the contrary, I am a "your man". My wife delivered 4 children and she called the shots. No ifs, ands or buts. I was the muscle, I ensured her wishes were adhered to. She did it her way and I can't imagine me adopting any other position.
A husband who doesn't care about his wife's comfort is a person who doesn't deserve to have a wife.
WOW, this really is a sensitive spot for me. Yahoo would never allow the wording I would use in an absolutely uncensored realm. You get the idea. Just fill the top of this posting with a lot of "******" and you will see my true feelings.

Of course. It is my body and he was practically begging me to anyway. It really doesn't have any major affects on the baby. Plus it will make the experience so much more enjoyable.

It would not and was not his choice--I had a c-section so heck yes I had drugs--but even the other way as long as you let her hold your hand and squeeze the life out of it....

Try and pull a watermelon out of your butt and lets see if you don't need painkillers.
