Yes. Try Defensive Back. You're actually probably average to above average height for a DB your age. If you grow 2 or 3 more inches then, you'd be good size for a DB. Work on your speed and hands skills.

Hey, mate. I hope you don't have to take a drug test for work in the next few days. With these opinions and at this time of the year with your thoughts, you would fail. Sure everybody wants their side to win the premiership. Making senseless predictions is a waste of time until the finals begin. These thoughts on Geelong, hmmmmmmm. 1 - Geelong will not have the supremacy over other sides this year, every win will require, what seems like, more effort. 2 - They will fatigue and possibly injure themselves, 3 - Too much talk about money 4 - no burning desire

I'm a highschool football coach and I am very astonished you would even ask a question as such. You are too small to play tightend, but, you would probably make a better blocking fullback, blocking, which most tightends do alot of, is the most coveted thing a coach could ask for. Besides, most highschool TE's are generally in the 5'11" to 6'3" range. Hope you consider the advice.

what team? if you are talking highschool hell no that is a good hight yet for HS Football, and like another answerer said your not so much weight but strenth and blocking and catchign skills along with speed will make a big diff over your hight, ppl put to much on hight and weight in sports, it has a lil to do with it but not as much as you think, its way not over rated, its way over hyped, its all bout the skill man if that is the posision you want to play and your damn good at it i don't care if your 55 and 175 if you thrash at TE and i'm your coach guess what your playing over the 65 220 kid that can't catch or block

I think it really matters what level of football you're playing at, if you're at a really small school you could probably go ahead and try but at a larger school you're much too short.
Another factor is definitely your weight, if you're a big guy and can block you have a better shot, but otherwise you're probably better off at another position. Most of the time you want your tight end to be 6" at least.

Not if they don't have anyone better suited. As a coach they usually want more height. It's hard to find the combination of height, muscle, speed, and hands. You may be the guy if nobody else fits the bill.

Yea, you're to short. If you want to be a receiver you could be a wide receiver. You could run a lot of crossing routes like Bernard Berrian and Steve Smith.

I think that weight and your speed would play into the mix a little more than your height.
