You should be feeling it soon (within the next 3-6 weeks). At first it feels as if there are actually butterflies in your stomach and you can't get your stomach to settle down even if you take a deep breath and try to relax the muscles. Then is starts to feel like a gas bubble or burp inside but really low. The a little bump from inside and at that point you always know when it is the baby and not air, or nerves etc. Right now, if you lay down on your stomach and hold your breath and really concentrate, you may be able to feel it. Don't worry if you don't it won't be long.

Funny, the first time I actually knew for sure it was my baby, I was laying on my back and it was 15 minutes before 6/6/06. All of a sudden my belly jumped like a frog, 3 good kicks.....It really freaked me out!

I'm going to be honest. The feeling of the baby moving was the creepiest thing to me. I didn't really like it at all. Later on I was more comfortable and looked forward to it more. But even later, but particularly in the begining, all I could think was "There is something moving in my belly and it isn't me".

So don't feel like a bad mom if you end up feeling that way. It *is* weird to have something other than you moving in your belly.

If I remember correctly, it would be at about 5 months and it feels like something moving around and when the feet or hands really stretch out, sometimes it hurts.
