i feel that the biggest snub includes carmelo anthony, and surprisingly, mehmet okur, who has had an amazing year. josh howard, of course, was snubbed, but is in the game now. for the worst selection for the big game, i feel that Shaquille O'Neal is the choice. Dwight Howard deserves to start, and it is a travesty that an aging Shaq, who has missed many game this season, and is having a less than stellar season, is even in the game.

I agree that the worst selection is Shaq, but since he was chosen by the fans, there is nothing that can be done about it. The biggest snub, now that Carmello has been added as an injury replacement, is Derron Williams. The Jazz have been the most surprising team this season and Williams has really stepped up his game from last year. Averaging over 17 points and 9 assists (second highest average behind Nash), he has become the floor leader for Utah and helped lead them to the 4th best record in the league.

yeah i agree before they were put in that melo and josh howard were totally snubbed. i also feel that baron davis and ray allen were completely looked over. how does tony parker and carlos boozer get picked over ray allen and b-diddy?!?!?!!! *shakes head*

as far as the worst it has to be shaq. its obvious he was voted in from popularity and not of any real substantial basis. i mean look at the guy now... yeah he's back but he cant even go out and play 25 minutes! he has to constantly rest because of his slow recovery from injuries while alonzo mourning comes in to pick up his fallen pieces! oh and may i say, alonzo mouning is two years older than shaq and yet he still plays like a beast while shaq looks like an fat, old, wounded animal! anyway, dwight howard should have gotten the start because at least he would help out the east more than shaq can. you called it right when you said this is a travesty.

It's BARON DAVIS. i know people dont get to see GS games or his game. i know many people love to rip on the warriors (kerr and barkley) and i know people dont care about the warriors. but look at barons numbers. he is top 10 in steals and assts. he is avg 20 pts a game and he is the sole reason why the warriors are still alive in the playoff race. he has carreid the warriors WITHOUT jason richardson (who had allstar numbers last year. 23 ppg) and with a team full of kids. ellis and biedrins are only 21 and 20 yrs old.
Okur is also a good selection for being snubbed.

worst selections: shaq, only played what? 4 games?
Tmac has missed a lot of games and should be a starter.
Nash should be a starter.
Tony Parker doesnt deserve to be in over Baron Davis. take away Duncan and see how well parker does.

David Wright and Pat Burrell both deserve to go to the All-Star Game. Wright not only has better offensive numbers than Ramirez, I would not be surprised if he wins the Gold Glove again this year. Burrell, as much as I hate the Phillies, is second in the league in walks and has already hit 21 HRs. Even Reyes would have been better than Tejada. As for the pitchers, Johan and Cole Hamels have both put up very good numbers. I think it's a joke to say that Aaron Cook is better than Cole Hamels. As for the AL, Zack Greinke or Jon Lester could have made it.

Biggest snub: Carmelo Anthony, Josh Howard

Worst selection: Shaq

But Melo and Josh Howard are in now thanks to D. Stern, the best commisioner in sports.
