I have a bed with springs and everytime you move on it it makes noise and goes up and down. Is there anyway i could temporarily stop this without buying a new bed.

I'm afraid the only real solution would be a new bed!

Get a piece of cheap pressed plywood that will lay down on onto your bedframe. You'll need help as it all has to be one piece. Maybe when the lumberyard or building warehouse deliver, you can convince the guys to help you with a few extra $$ for a tip.

& then put your mattress & box spring down over the board.

This will definitely lessen the bouncy sounds. We used to do it where I worked at an old inn that had tons of those types of beds.

The plywood was not ever more than $50 before tax. You'll need at least 1/4" thickness though.

Besides buying a new bed I reccommend you sleeping on the floor
