Anybody any idea what it will cost for someone to take out and replace a
sink of similar proportions. Just a rough idea please.

I would guess about £70, but that is without seeing the job.

I am completely useless at these estimates, I have always found that if I approach it using logic I am a mile out. For example your question at first glance I have a good idea how to change a sink, so looking at mine I would say a good plumber that knows is job could do it in a couple of hours, and if you provide the new sink his bits and bobs should cost £30 max, plus a couple of hours at £30 per hour £90 total, seems fair to me.
That of course is using my logic, which we can discount altogether, so I'll go for £150.
If you know some one that knows someone then I would say £50 total, and lets face it you don't need to be a rocket scientist to change a kitchen sink.

It generally costs nothing cause when we go on holiday my wife takes the kitchen sink with her (or so it seems) and it never costs us anything....
