I’m from Ireland and next year is going to be my last year in school. And I was thinking off moving to the UK to study for a BS.c in psychology I don’t know is it the right thing to do. And none of my friends are going to the UK to study. But if I want to do a BS.c in psychology over here you would need to have done all higher level subjects and get 560 out of 600. But I know that I will be able to get into a university over there not like here and as well you need to have Irish and French or German to get into university over here, but on the other hand I could all ways just study for a BA in psychology in a normal college which is called Dublin business college its putting off and its small. My mum and dad don’t want me to go over because I don’t know anyone. And one off my friends doesn’t want me to go over as well. But they only problem is he is going to university in this country to study law. Should I go to the UK and hope I will make friends fast and get one fast with people??

Dude, I actually know what youre saying because I'm taking the leaving cert in Ireland!

Anyway, I think Trinity is the best when it comes to those areas fo study... but since it really IS tough to score, I suggest you try the UK. They mark easier in there.

I put down psychology at 3rd in my CAO.

One advice: JUST STUDY REAALLLY HARD IN JUNE.:)

I don't know about in Ireland, but in the UK most people who go to University go to a new place, where they don't know anyone. So you wouldn't be alone in that, by any means. Generally I'd consider it part of the experience. Normally within a couple of weeks everyone's made tons of friends and completely settled in. But it's really down to you and how you feel about the idea of moving away; no-one but you can decide - sorry!

go to the UK

it's always good to get away from where you grew up and see other things, no matter where you grew up.

staying at the same place all your life makes you stupid and what the germans call "weltfremd" ..... look it up...
