concurring with the others: onions, chocolate toxic to dogs. got an e-mail the other day ( snopes anti hoax approved) that as few as 6 raisins can kill a 50 pound dog from kidney failure. DO NOT feed your beloved pet things you're unsure are absolutely SAFE! PLEASE!

My dog will eat ANYTHING. I think they all do.

Let me let you in on a little secret though, coming from a vet we had to visit. ONIONS ARE A BIG NO NO. They can expand in the digestional tract and kill the little waggly tailed cuties.

Other then that most veg is fine, and having an Akita of 61 kilos who eats like a horse we make his food rather than buyh it.

Here's a good little recipe if you're interested.

Keep left over meat & veg scraps from the weeks dinners in a bag or tub in the fridge, add these with extra blended carrots, brocolli and cabbage to a big pot and boil till soft and mushy, take it off the stove and let it cool right down, add to raw chicken and lamb mince and mush away. Add some gravy, powdered is cheapest and easiest then watch the little waggler devour it with a smile.
There is an added advantage to this recipe in the smell department as canned foods will kill the family if he or she has a little surge of gas in front of the tele at night.

Raw bird wings are what my puppies consume just about daily. They're pleasant, but do *now not*! Supply your dogs something else to consume at present. Raw food and kibble don't digest at the same fee. Their poop can be white-ish, and dry. Do not fear. Puppies do not endure from salmonella as people do. And, uncooked bones are fit to be eaten for dogs - most effective thing to worry about would be choking in the event that they ate too fast, but you'd comprehend if that was a predicament by using now!
