Almost, its called bandwidth, everything you do on the internet takes bandwidth. like take for example to load this page lets say it takes approx 55kb to load the page.
so i think youll be fine with 40gb of bandwidth

Usually when it says "Monthly Usage" they mean, how much bandwidth (people accessing it) can be used..
