In the United States, "Undergraduate Education" refers to any terminal degree beneath or at the level of Bachelors. That includes, but is not lemited to,
BA, BS, AA, BSc, AS, (training programs as either the bachelor's or associate's level).
Graduate level is anything above this, usually requiring a bachelor's degree or equivalent (except by approved petition or waiver).
When doing graduate work, it is possible to take courses that are classified as "undergraduate courses". Each college or department within a college has its own policy on how much these courses count toward graduate credit, but the classification refers to the expectation that the vast majority of students taking these courses will be undergraduates, and the level of difficulty is generally lower than that of graduate-level courses.

Well when you get you High School Diploma you matriculate - graduate. When your enter a college or university you are an underclassmen or underclassman or an undergraduate. When you graduate and get a College Diploma you have graduated. Now consider this. you enter into a master program you are now a Graduate Student. Why because you have graduated from a 4 year graduate program. Graduate - action and undergraduate is a person. So i guess when you are in college you are under the graduate class. I had fun with this i hope you do to. Keep Education first.

Undergraduate is the first four years you study in the university while working on your Bachelors degree. After the four years you may continue to study as a Graduate student( graduate because you already obtained your Bachelors degree). Any thing after the four years is graduate which may be your Masters or Doctorate.

Graduate school is a nightmare.
Suddenly your professors view you not as a student, but as potential competition.
