Do not tourque that nut, remember the wheels have to roll. Just get it snug and make sure the tire still spins without friction.

If it's the same as my 92, 180 ft-lbs.

Mine's an LX

edit: There is no cotter pin on this car. (Not on the axle nut, at least...on the castle nut for the pitman joint there is) And you don't dick around with the torque on wheel bearings. You damn well get it right.

A repair manual may tell.
How I do this; Snug the nut as you spin the hub to help it seat well and tighten only enough to insert the cotter pin. If, you make it too tight it will over heat the bearing. If, there a very small play and you go to the next hole and it tight then back off one hole. Hope this makes sense.
