Your heart is a functioning human organ.It only has the capacity to feel pain -as in ouch, that hurts- and perhaps some forms of stimulation.What you are describing is your soul.It is your soul that has the capacity to miss someone special.

I miss my mom. It kinda sucks living here in Pa and knowing that my mom is all the way in Cali and I cant help her with anything. I miss my little sister too.
