what is the starting payrate as an air steward/stewardess??

for airasia and malaysia airlines??? for degree holder is how high and for non degree holder is how much???

Ok , mas n airasia not much different in pay,in MAS you hv less work as compared with airasia.Mas has got better perks simple because Mas flies to many international destinations.Remember basic pay is not high but most of them depend so much on flying overseas allowance.For eg when u fly to London ..the distant is long you will get quite a high allowance quite close to 1K .I would say MAS has more room for promotion as compared to air asia.Airasia only employs one leading steward/stewardess whereas mas has got IFS(Inflt supervisor),Senior Chief ,Leading and normal streward in a widebody aircraft.Well for a start u may try either one , basic is about RM1200 now if im not wrong for a steward/stewardess.Training for MAS is at Kelana Jaya training centre for mas and Air asia is at South Support Zone Klia near LCCT.Its next to 2nd roundabout to LCCT.
