didn't really get it. it was like any other romance just with dudes. i thought with all that hoopla, it would be some what different. but it wasn't.

i didn't think that much of it to be honest. It wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. I think that it was made out to be better than it actually is just because it's about 2 gay guys. I found the storyline boring and that dialogue wasn't that great either. I bought it on DVD so that I could watch it and I ended up selling it on ebay! lol

At first I was bored but it turns out I really liked the movie. It was a sad love story well told. I give the 2 actors alot of credit it tooks balls to take on those parts.

What i did not like about the movie was that the Heath Ledger character got married when he was still confused about his sexuality. If he wasn't sure he should have not married because later on in the movie he was cheating on his wife.

Well I think it was a good movie
but i didn't understand why they had to show so much of that one sex sceen?
it was like 5 mintues long that was kinda umm uncomfortable

Most straight men like me were not amused.
And F....g Furious at ang lee to bother with it at all.
And as for heath ledger sulking around the oscars because it went down like a lead ballon.I have to say what did you think.
Cowboy films are about john wayne and the searchers.
I hated it.
And the gay comunity should'nt be taking liberties with a core part of american history the COWBOY.
And finally
Just because you can make a gay cowboy film dosen't mean you should.
I think lessons have been learned.

totally gay...just kidding, i loved it, loved the music but do realise that some think its really slow, just forget its 2 guys and enjoy the great dialogue and heart ache from a secret relationship

I'm a straight female, and I adore this movie. It was touching and poignant, and the ending really blew me away.
It's a great movie that reminds us all of how important it is to be tolerant of others and their lifestyles/beliefs. I highly recommend it.

I thought it was depressing. Extremely depressing. You either try to embrace who you are and get your a*s kicked or ignore it and die lonely and forgotten. I think people hyped the movie too much.
