Be careful how you pick and choose your partner. My husband told me he stayed away from "high maintenance women." You will certainly find a lot of "gold diggers" out there. People should listen and take heed to old sayings like, "Money talks and BS walks." You won't find too much women out there that are true in character. People have turned to be very competitive in this society and they will do anything to get what they want. Even to the point of selling their soul to the devil. Good luck in finding a "good" woman. Most of them are taken. When a man sees a good woman, he'll take her in a heartbeat.

Security can mean money. It can also mean, loyalty. Some one who will always be there for you, to watch your back, stand by your side through the good times and the bad times. Never having the fear of going through the every day struggles of life alone.

No it doesn't mean that they want someone to financially support them they want the security of a man to support them emotionally to have their man there to reassure them and console them when needed open arms and a shoulder to cry on basically.

That could be a reason, but mainly someone who is stable and protective and will love them and honor them and respect them and just be everything a person should be in the first place, but money is in there to a certain point. People want to be needed and taken cared of, its just the primal instincts,,,,,,,,

What they are saying is they want a man with a huge arsenal of weapons and maybe a few nukes under the bed. This guy can secure any woman.

Yep...and it's even considered politically correct, and many ladies have no shame in that regard.
But watch a man try to "look for a rich woman", and you'll see people call him "deadbeat" and all kinds of nasty things.

Ah...double standards!

That's it in part, and I guess the other part is they want to feel safe, not be cheated on, and just know come what may that they are taken care of. Tall order for anyone huh?
