Which one is better? VGA or DVI?
I heard many people have troubles while they are dealing with DVI... is it because something has to be set in BIOS first?
so I should use VGA?

VGA is an analog connection
DVI is a Digital connection.
If your machine supports DVI, then that's the way to go.

The DVI goes digital from the card to the monitor and VGA cable the goes from digital to analog and back to digital in the monitor.

Once you adjust your VGA you won't tell any difference I don't think.

VGA (Video Graphics Array) is analog and DVI (Digital Visual Interface) is as it says digital. Both have their uses and while one is better for one application the other will be better for other applications VGA is cheaper and more common but DVI is growing. Check these two Wikipedia pages for more info.

there is a difference between the two formats.. not sure your going to notice them.. as long as both your graphic card and the screen support dvi.. i see no reason to use vga. in the future, when HDCP will arrive. u will have to use dvi

I think vga works for Monitor only, and Dvi works with monitor and TVS.

No dude they are moniter cable types

VGA is the traditional

and then DVI is the new one.. apperintly DVI has a tiny bit better quality but really there is no difference.

Also if you extend your moniter cable apperintly VGA loses quality, but DVI doesnt.
