Now that's a good question. Before you go off and buy any old paraffin you need to determine what type of hurricane you're expecting. Is it a category 5 or below. Now if it's a catgory 4 or lower then you need pink paraffin which as you know you can buy off the shelf. Now if you're expecting a category 5 then you really need to be thinking about yellow paraffin, which you cannot buy off the shelf. You need to make this.. here's how you do it...
1 cup of cold liver oil
1 Fl oz turpentine
4 eggs
1 cup of caster suger
1 rib eye steak (see the guy building the BBQ for that!!)
4 twinkies
1 large filleted mullet
Blend it all together and you have have the best darn yellow paraffin you'll ever make.. No hurricane will blow that lamp out...#
Hope this helps
