Women in india have now devised a really cool way of mitigating that and thats by being "passive agressive" it works like a charm.
Like my mother used to say "You control the limit, it upto men to try everything they want" If you give in, you loose.
This is real girl power! :-)

yes mostly woman must walk behind the husband. the muslim men in india are this way most of the other religions there arent like this woman can work etc

Most i know are very highly educated and so are their wives and they say women are more respected in India than they are here.
