No -the song is 'What's Up?' and was by 4 Non Blonds a band fronted by top songwriter Linda Perry (who writes for Pink & Christina Aguilera), cracking song though!!

whats going on- was sung by wookie,artists against aids worldwide,music relief, cyndi lauper and mekon featuring roxanne shante,. Alanis morrisettes songs were you otta know, hand in my pocket,you learn,ironic,head over feet, all i really want, thank u, joining you,so pure,hands clean,precious illusions,everything and out is through i hope that can help a bit. by the way 4 non blondes sang whats up !

I hope your not confusing the title with Taste's 'what's going on', and rather with the 4 non blondes one... I can live with that.

It was four non blondes - I pretty sure one of them is still a songwriter and has written a few hits for people in the past few years although four non blondes were one hit wonders.
