A centimeter is smaller than a meter so the number for a centimeter is going to be whatever the meter is times 100. Or you can just move the decimal point 2 places to the right.
Example: 3 meters + 300 centimeters

we know that 1 meter equals a 100 centimeters, so all u have to do is multiply the number of meter by a hundred or by simply putting to zeroes at the end of the number of meters, for example 10 meters equal 1000 centimeters(10 multiplied a hundred), or 13 meters equal 1300.
