In some areas, yes, and in others, no.
At work, where I do a lot of math, I definitely learn from each mistake. Not that I don't make some of the same mistakes twice or three times, but I do eventually learn and improve my techniques.
However, when it comes to meetings I attend, I just can't keep my mouth shut when someone says something incorrect. I INSIST on confronting errors, even if it would be smarter to be quiet, and either address the situation in private or count on someone else handling it. I have not learned from my repeated mistakes in this area.

but sometimes i do the same thing over again
everyone needs to make there own mistakes
and learn from them
sometimes its a price to pay
