Can you make starts off of the exsisting Bamboo plants?

Example: I have some that are getting pretty tall can I cut them and make new starts? Do I need to do anything special?

yes you can just cut off the tops and i think that you put them in water then transplant either that or you just replant sorry i forgot which one

The top will not grow. Dig down and get a stock with roots.
