That people, more specifically the ones that should be leading us *forward* into a brighter future, like your politicians and your people of faith, instead they want to turn the clock back to more stringent, almost dictatorial times where most people *suffered* to live.
Or...they end up wanting the End of Days. O_O Why??
Do people really think the end of the world, or the extinction of humanity in mutually genocidal warfare, is the only way to make things "better"? Does 60% of America's people have to *die* (according to Pat Robertson mind you) in order for things to get "better"?
Why have we defined "better" so stringently, so narrowly? Why have we dumbed down the *concept* of better so selfishly and ruthlessly that "better" has lost all meaning to anyone *but* the zealots and haters? And this goes *doubly* for the people of a political bent who insist that the decay of America into an Empire or a Dictatorship is "inevitable", that we are doomed to lose our freedoms and civil rights anyway?
Have we become so ruthless, so contentious, so adversarial that we can't *imagine* a world wherein life is *better* for you, and *also better* for me too?? Have zero-sum and negative-sum politics (the first one: where every winner *has to* create a loser, the second: where losers just *spawn* spontaneously no matter what you do), have these things corrupted our society to the point of it being a *genetic flaw*?
Really. I have to ask. Are we so selfish and dead-set on others getting better lives *alongside us* that we've lost all sense of compassion or of feeling *with* the people around us...
Pfft. Ok, you're on a cell phone now, or absorbed into your iPod, I guess that answers the question, doesn't it? You have a human being here *right in front of you*, but that isn't enough is it?
Just saying, thanks for your time (such as it is these days). o_O

The control. How it affects our children. No matter how many individuals we can speak with and interact with......how can we promote change when society is taking our children away and down. I admire the movie stars who are standing up to the drugging of our children and the psychological controls that are being placed in school and church and local government. It will create more
chaos just as we talked about in grammer school when I was a student. Why do parents not understand that drugs are drugs? Medicine has its ugly and has it's curing effects. We have been
druggin people instead of curing them forever. I have seen
children become weakened by medicine since the fifties.
This is not actually a fear but a real concern all of my life.

The continuing downward spiral of public education. An uneducated society is doomed to fail. It should be a top priority in every state, but is not in a single one. How sad is that?

Here in the USA, violence is rapid now (compared to 20 years ago). What does our future hold? There is so much hate crime. People are not allowed to voice their personal opinion any more without fear of being a victim of hate crime. I'm worried that our freedom as we know it, is slowly fading away.

The fact that young girls are partying so much and boozing alot scares me. And the limitless bounds that the media will go to to project that message.

The fact that it is going down stream instead of up stream. I wonder when I was a teen how the world was and what it is turning out to be now... its amazing how horrible people are growing to be. No one cares for another and all they are focusing on is money and sex. IT is really sad.

How our society is so absorbed in money and putting their wants and needs ahead of everything else. Also how our society has taken God out of everything.

Society is allowing people who rape, molest, and kill children back on the streets to re-offend. And they turn their heads to the guilty because of celebrity status.

Judging by this site... How close minded most people are. How completely ignorant most people with the most to say are. Don't get me wrong. i like people and diversity. I am just not a fan of the above.
