but in only spotted that night and it was a light brown discharge. thats was it, it was all over. i took a pregnancy test last week ,but it was negative. could i still be pregnant?

If you really want to know, go to the doctor. They know best! And they can give you ablood test which is more conclusive than an at home. Lucky for me, by the time i pulled the applicator out of my urine stream and put the cap on, it already was positive (no doubt for me!) But like i said, the best bet, go to your doctor.

Yes, most of the tests on the market need a significant amount of HCG, the pregnancy hormone, to detect a positive pregnancy. The reality, most women don't produce much of the hormone in the first weeks of pregnancy. So you should purchase a test that requires less of the hormone, such as EPT or Fact Plus. Or you could just get a blood test by your doctor.

It's possible - I've heard of women who didn't get a positive pregnancy test result until their 3rd month! I'd buy another home pregnancy test and try again, or just go to your doctor and get a blood pregnancy test (those are much more sensitive and more accurate).
