That's fine, but if he still seems hungry after taking his bottle, I would offer 6 oz. At around 6 months or so, babies start drinking 6-8 oz. Don't gauge it on how much you think he should have. Judge it by his appetite. If after taking 4-5 oz, he still seems hungry, offer a pacifier because he may only be wanting to suck. If that doesn't satisfy him, then offer a couple more ounces of formula. If that does the trick and he isn't throwing up the excess or crying with a stomach ache, then he should be fine. When in doubt, just call his pediatrician. Good luck.

Yes, that sounds perfectly normal. The health department recommends from birth to 4 months, a baby should eat 18-30 ounces of formula a day.

Yes, 4-5 ounces is fine for a 3 month old.
You might find that you can give him less next month when he starts cereal.

That is fine. All babies are different. My daughter is 7 weeks and eats 4-6 depending on her mood I think, lol. She has doubled her weight already but I have been told, you feed them when they are hungry. :) Good luck

At two months that's fine, but i have no idea about three months. Don't you have a doctor that you can ask, cause feeding a baby is pretty important.

That is perfect. My doctor always said to feed them as much as they will take. My daughter was drinking about 8 oz at a time!

It should be fine, your baby knows how much he wants to eat. As long as he is gaining weight ok then that is fine. If you are really worried about it you can consult his pediatrician about it.

it depends on how much the baby weighs and how often he eats. just remember that over feeding your baby is not healthy.
