I am a fairly decent judge of character, so I try to follow my gut. If I'm suspicious at the get-go, it's very hard to earn my trust. But if I get a good feeling about someone, I usually make fast friends.
Gotta love it when an answer boils down to "It depends."

I am quite cautious, but about the third time I'm around them and they haven't done anything to make me suspicious, I say, "trust until that trust is broken!"

ususally i'm a very trusting person. but with what i've seen in the past 2 or 3 years, i'm still a very trusting person, i'm just more cautious about who i put my trust in. so far only 2 ppl have ever managed to gain my complete and absolute trust. one i haven't talked to since january of 06.

i trust easily. hence most of the time i ended up very disappointed. but still not enough reason to trust people and believe that there are genuine ones.

I'm quite a trusting person. Really trusting infact. I never really want to doubt people or oppose people.

I think that the older you are the less trusting you become. I am sure this is based on the percent of times you were burned.
