No you do not lose your virginity. If you've never worn tampons before i suggest wearing regular or slimfit first because the first time you put one "up there" can be a bit uncomfortable. Change it every four hours...(even though the box says eight). If you get a fever during use..take the tampon out. You could have TSS. Toxic Shock Syndrome is explained on all boxes of tampons. My friends really like the "sport" tampons ...i dont know who makes them..but they work really good for well sports and running around work all day. And please dont wear them to bed!!! Hope this helps good LUCK!

No lol. Although I did have a bad experience with tampons once. I was using tampons on the regular and one time I slept over my friends house and had gotten my period. When I get my period I get severe crippling cramps. Well I put the tampon in and I started doubling over in pain, got really hot and dizzy, and then almost passed out on her bathroom floor. Don't know what really happened but that was the first and only time that has happened to me. I won't use tampons ever again lol.

It can rupture your hymen.
The condition of the hymen isn't an accurate definition of virginity.
A virgin is someone who has never had sex. How can inserting the tampon be the same as sex?!
The ‘hymen’ which seems to be so ridiculously sacred is just a piece of skin-like tissue that stretches partly across the opening of the vagina.
However, if you are particular about the hymen, then remember that inserting a tampon may stretch or tear the hymen, though this is rare. And even if a tampon does break the hymen, you are still a virgin till you have had a sexual intercourse.

No- a lot of young girls/boys think this. The only way to lose your virginity is actually having sexual intercourse. Even if your hymen is broken by a tampon, you are still a virgin.

No, you don't lose your virginity. Just be careful to use the right level of absorbency or you could put yourself at risk of Toxic Shock.

No, you don't.
I would caution you to remember to take the last one out at the end of your period. Could cause infection if left in.

No. Now go talk to your mom about such things and quit asking strangers such questions. That's exactly what parents are for.
