try a magazine called computeractive. It helped me when I first got a computer.

i.e. - Internet explorer - the software microsoft uses for browsing the web/internet - sometimes called your browser/internet browser - its pre-installed will your (OS)operating system - Windows XP / 98 / NT / ME.

HTML - Hyper Text Markup Language - this is the code the the web uses to create your webpage its a programming lanuage, some may call it a scripting language. To see the code for this website go to veiw on the menu bar and then Source.

Fun trick to start you off, type...

...into a notepad file, and save it as hello.html then close it, and reopen it.

There are other scripting lanuages like javascript ect.

ISP - Internet service provider, basically is who supplies you with your internet. like NTL or BT ect.

you can easily just click the tools drop down list. Choose options, and just take words from the tabs and choices
