Just because you're old enough to have started your period does not mean that you'll start it immediately on that date. I wouldn't worry until you're out of your teens, frankly. Some people bloom early, and other's later - I wouldn't be in a rush to have your period, it's not fun.

How old is old enough? I've been told that girls should start their periods by the time they are 16 or so, and if they don't they should consult their doctor.
If you are 16 or over, this does NOT mean you will never have kids. You need to find out why you aren't getting your period first before you can even begin to worry about that. I'll use myself as an example - I don't get periods at all anymore. But my doctor gave me two simple medications so that I can get pregnant. And I did get pregnant - on the first try!

i wouldnt worry its not nice having periods.
But the age can vary from about 9 o 20 ish so there is a long time.
also if you weight under about 7 and a half stone your period will not start as your body is not big enough to handle it.

God does love you.
You'll get them when your body clock is ready. If your not under weight and your a healthy young women don't stress
Enjoy life with out tampons for a little while longer.
Periods are not yuck they are great. They tell you each month your not pregnant

Some women don't get their period until they are in their early 20's. Also, it could be that you don't have enough body fat, or have other hormonal issues. If you are really concerned, talk to your doctor.
