small sweet 16 party ideas?

my birthday is in April and the last school day before spring/easter break.

i have an idea to go bowling with my friends or going to the movies, but the problem is i don't have that much money...i wanted a party like the ones on Mtv,

but i just want about 7-11 friends to come and there will be boys....

here are some things i need:
theme
activities for the party
ideas (like bowling, rent a room and use the pool..... thats all i can think of)

First of all just forget about having a party like the ones on MTV, we all want to have one of those but unless your Paris Hilton then its a no go. Bowling sound pretty good(except for the stinky shoes)You didn't say how much money so I'm thinking cheap here. Do you have a mad Maggie's where you live? Its a pool(billiards), dart and arcade place. That's fun, theres no alcohol and they serve pizza or whatever. You didn't mention your house. Could you have it there with a lot of food and rental movies? Play games like twister, dance contests, karaoke sing offs, DVD trivial pursuit. Or is that out of the question? How's the weather that time of year? You could go skiing, snowboarding, skating or sledding if its still snowy(It can snow up until may where I live) If You want to rent a hall I think its like $100-up to rent the local VFW but you'd have to bring your own food, music and table stuff(table clothes, etc) If you go out anywhere(to eat)your friends should all get together and pay for your meal. It is your birthday after all. As for the color blue, you could have like an under the sea type of thing or a Hawaiian theme. If you have it at your house, put up blue streamers, blue balloons, if it doesn't make you feel to babyish, put up blues clues things(I think he' cute) I hope this helps, Have fun.
