The whole lot stinks mate!! Green issues are another way of controlling the masses to suit them when needed! If we stuck to speed limits drove 1.0 lit diesel engined cars, it would cause financial chaos to the economy!! We are all WELL TURNED OVER!! and on a daily basis to. It's just getting WORSE!!

There's a simple explanation, it's called supply and demand. As diesel has become more and more popular, the refineries have struggled to keep up with the extra demand. In time new refineries will be built, and the price will probably come back down relative to petrol. There's no big conspiracy, it's just business.

And if you can achieve the same economy by thrashing an Audi as you can by driving a Rover like a granny, isn't that pretty good? I know which I'd rather be driving...

They are turning just getting around the country into a complete nightmare alright.

Taxing mobility just seems to be strangling the economy and an excuse to continue their monitoring of our every movement -

Congestion tolls seem to be a cunning way of increasing surveillance and fleecing the motorist.

Thats right. All this bleating about the environment is a huge con to get more money out of all of us. Not saying its not an important issue - but the self serving pigs at Westminster see it as a green light to get even more money for doing nothing.
