Mollie McKenna sounds better. There is not the repetition of the "olley" sound in the surname. "Mollie McCauley" sounds like you are starting a rude rhyme of some sort. It would be a name to use for a buffoonish character in a play.

I think McCauley is the better, but as Macauley, as most people seem to spell it thusly (not that I'm telling you to do that), and it's got authority and a ton of people in history with it as a last name.
