Why do the American people care more about the death of Anna Nicole Smith than the 3 more U.S. soilders killed in Iraq or the family of 10 who were burned to death in Kentucky?

Because that's what the media shows. Our news reporting organizations have all their priorities in the wrong place. You'd be surprised at all the information concerning Irag that we aren't being given on a daily basis because our current government pretty much owns the media corporations and they dictate what we can and cannot be aware of going on in this country and abroad.

Don't even get me started about the greed and corruption that is going on. But no one believes this because they aren't seeing it on the daily news.

Anna Nicole Smith is the fluff they fill us with so we don't question anything else. We see her death being top stories and taking up so much time on the airwaves that we feel like all must be "right" in the world if this is what makes the headlines.

I asked the same question. There is more coverage about her death than the deaths of the soldiers or even police officers who lose their lives in the line of duty. It is always sad when someone dies and it is a shame that her daughter will grow up without her mother but I don't want to here anymore about her or her life.

The American public is fascinated by celebrities and their lifestyles (including money, fame, drama). Those soldiers are not rich nor famous..so they don't intrigue them as much. Its sad but why do you think there are so many magazines and articles written about them? Its a billion dollar industry. Well.. for me I definitely feel bad for the soldiers and pray for them everyday. I don't even want to get into what I think about the war.

Yes the servicemen are dyeing to protect us and this woman who slept with a very old man to get the money that should go to his family. and has a child that will someday see that her mom didnt know who the dady was.if she didnt hit it big on money there would be a name for a woman that does that ..you get back what you do in life Imagen if it was your grandpa or dad a blonde big boobed woman just slept with for your familys money

i did not comprehend her, so lacking her does not be acceptable for me, yet I do imagine after I listen about her on television, how very tragic and unhappy a comfortable woman of 39 dies. quite very few months after having a baby...The situations, her son demise, now her toddler will not in any respect comprehend her or him, and the purely reason quite everyone seems scuffling with to get the toddler is funds, and that complete state of affairs is in basic terms unhappy, to me....And by technique of how, countless the quite rude comments that I surely have examine over the perfect week in this website about her and her personal mess ups, i come upon very distasteful, those who've written them lead suitable lives devoid of skeletons of their closet i'm assuming....may all of us like our personal lives and each and each element uncovered to the final public, i imagine not...
