Wedding dresses do not sell on ebay. For such an important event in one's life, brides want to touch, see, and try on the dress.
I have been ebaying for 7 years and I have managed two ebay drop off locations and now own my own business. I have never been able to sell a wedding gown on ebay.
Davids Bridals with their 99 dollar sales have really brought down the prices of wedding gowns. If you want more than $100 bucks for it..its most likely you will not get it.
I would take it to a second hand store or a dress maker...even maybe a mom and pop wedding dress store and sell it there.
If you are expecting alot for it...chances are..you just lost awhole lot of money.

There are consignment shops, but you won't get even close to the $ that you paid for your dress. I had same problem, that I had tuxes that I had purchased and had to get rid of. A suggestion is that if you would like the Tax deduction, Take a picture of the dress, even showing the tags on it to show its new ( receipt is also helpful to save as proof), and donate it to a non profit organization and write it off for your full purchase price on your taxes. The organization does not place the value on your item, You do.
But it is good to have the picture and receipt of the item as extra proof. I saw not too long ago on Television about an organization that sells wedding dresses and then uses the money to give people wishes. People that are going through Cancer etc.. and they help people by granting wishes in forms of sending the person and their family on a dream vacation etc. If you search around on the web, you may be able to locate a charity like that and also write your dress off for tax purposes for its full value.

i could attempt putting an advert in the paper. in case you sell it to a keep that needs to sell it for you, you will purely get a million/2 of what you're able to in case you bought it on your very own because of the fact the keep could have the desire to make a earnings too.

Why sell your wedding dress? Keep it as a souvenir.

many towns have a "wedding showcase" time of year to promote their wares, usually have a showing of bridal attire.
raffle tickets are a good money maker for a lot of things. someone gets luck twice!

Check your area to see if there are any consignment shops there, and find out what kind of terms they have.
