Paper so long as it has handles

It depends on what I'm buying. If it's just a few small items, I tend to go with plastic. If I'm buying larger items I'll go with paper.
In general, I prefer plastic because of the handles. I'm the kind of guy that thinks he can carry all ten bags at once by putting a handle around each finger.

I'm a plastic man myself, I can seem to care more groceries from the car into the house at one time. This is especially good when it's raining out.

Plastic at the cheapo supermarket because the paper bags are hard to carry. At Whole Foods, however, I get the paper because they have good strong handles and I use them as handy garbage bags.

Actually it has been years since I have seen anyone use paper, I just thought that plastic was our only option. Excect for the convenient stores who always have paper for the guys who want paper for their beer bottles or can???

plastic, i always rip the paper bags. plastic is easier to hold onto.
