I'm a big Duke fan and try to watch most games when I can, but I just can't see how he is even a first rounder. Maybe I'm spoiled from past players. Please help if you can

If McRoberts comes out he definitely won't be a lottery pick. He will be a late first rounder though. There's just too many better forwards ahead of him right now including Durant, Wright, Noah, and Horford. Not to mention, alot of teams don't like to gamble on such a young player, tho of course there are exceptions like Durant and Oden. If he stays another year, he'll be able to refine his game some and move up much higher in the draft.

You mean Josh McSobber? Sorry, I couldn't resist. Seriously, there's no way he's going pro after this year. Oden is coming out, Noah will, Brandan Wright probably will as well, and maybe even Hunt. McBob wouldn't stand a chance this year.
He'll stay with Duke for at least another year to see if his fortunes change -- as long as he can keep Zee from taking away his starter position. But I see Mikey giving up on him..unless something big really changes.

im a big duke fan to but i dont see him bein a first round draft pick. Hes just a sophmore right now but if he were to stay for his junior season i think he could get better and possibly be a first round draft pick.

McRoberts... It depends on the teams needs. He can really do it all... besides score consistantly. Good rebounder, great passer, can handle, and has good leaping ability (see all american dunk contest 2005). He's got upside, more than Sheldan Williams, and to me seems like a more athletic Vlade Divac. I doubt it this year, but next is likely.
