I get so frustrated when the sec does so great in recruiting and has such poor results to show for it. What more must they do? iI think the blame falls on the coaches not using thier recruits to their full potential, its sort of like going and scouting the number one running back in the nation when you have the number one quarterback on your team, what sense does that make? one of them wont be getting much play and that defeats the purpose of having them! well america what do you think should be done?

Dont get frustrated.

The way the BCS system works is that the team that goes undefeated at the end of the year AND is promoted highly on media outlets, plays in the NC game. Therefore if you have a highly dominant media-darling like Southern-Cal, Ohio St or Oklahoma that play in a weak conference and win all their games, they are usually at the top of the polls. Very rarely does an SEC team go undefeated with the inter-competition besides in 2004 with Auburn. But Auburn did not and could not jump to the #1 or #2 spot over Oklahoma or USC because the poll voters did not see a reason for OK or USC to fall since they did not lose a game either. It would have been a different story say Auburn had a long tradition of history like an Alabama or Florida.

Rarely get a big bowl?
Florida won BCS.
LSU smoked Notre Dame in Sugar Bowl.
Auburn was in Cotton Bowl.
What more do you want?

Just wait until we finally get a playoff system after paying off the greedy cowards banking off of the Rose Bowl. Then you will really see the SEC shine!

It is very difficult for an SEC team to end up on top. Mainly cause they have to play each other, therefore cannot go undefeated.

Because they pay the players so well that they can afford the best drugs and ho's. By the end of the season they are all worn out!
