I noticed since yesterday my computer makes this weird noise at random moments. it sounds like almost a duck but a very scary one. i feel so stupid saying this but it really scared the living daylights outta me and my bother when 1st heard it. what could this be? its getting very irratating and it startles me every time

I really don't know but have you tried turning the volume off? Also if you press the shift key 5 times in a row it makes a wierd noise so idk. Good luck

It could be a virus, or a computers warning system. number one, record when it makes those noises, number two how often and number 3 record the accual sound then post your problem again with all the info so we can help you more.

yeah i would check something on the computer bc that sound may be letting you know something is wrong i would call tech support and describe it to them since you are not seeing any pop ups when this occurs if you are seeing pop ups when the sound happens then yes it is a virus and just shut it down. good luck

i agree with true rider, sounds like a fan problem, better get it fixed before the motherboard overheat and get damage
