If your pipes are already buried, you have 2 choices:
1. leave the faucet run a little, letting it only drip might not work.
2. rebury the lines below the frost line.

Put a peace of Styrofoam insulation on the ground over the pipe then put and old blanket over the well pipe then cover with a thick layer of loose straw then cover the whole thing with a tarp or plastic to keep it all dry this will keep the ground under it from freezing If you need to thaw the pipe you can put a mechanic's drop light with a 100 Wat light bulb 3 or 4 feet down the well casing before covering the well and it should do the trick

They should be below the frost line. If so, they should be a cozy 58 degrees. If not, you could keep water moving through them (Faucet open on the other end)moving water should not freeze.

If your pipes are freezing below the ground they are either the wrong material or not buried deep enough. I don't know of any device that will prevent this.

keep one ov your sinks in the house running...well not running fully but more of a dripping or light stream coming from the fosset. This will keep water running through your pipes and prevent them from freezing and cracking
