No doubt this is the Mavs year. They have strung together numerous winning streaks this year after a poor 0-4 start. With a year under his belt, Avery is a better coach. Dirk is having an MVP like performance. The pieces are in place with Josh Howard stepping up his game, as has Terry and Stackhouse. They have the best conference record, division record, and an absurdly unbeatable home record. And of course they have the best record in the league. They will steamroll through the Spurs and Suns in the Western Conference playoffs and straight up take the East opponent to school regardless of who it is.

I think the Mavs have a chance to win the Championship, but Phoenix looks real good. It's come down to this, which team has role players injured and which team has the heart. Either way, the West will win (Either Phoenix or Dallas).

I think it will be the Mavs year and the final should be Dallas and Phoenix instead of an Eastern Conference team. With that record and Phoenix's it goes just to show you how strong the Western conference is compared to the Eastern one.
