There should be a "printable version" option at the top of the screen on most. Hit that, and it will eliminate the stuff you don't want.

If you just want to print out just the message part and not have the background, you can do what I do. Here are the steps how I do it so it can be easily done:
1. Highlight the message (highlight it by clicking down the left side of the mouse either from the upper left-side of the email to the lower right-side of the email or the lower right to the upper left - either way as long as you highlight the message).
2. Click the right side of the mouse only once and a message will come up on the screen.
3. Use the left side of the mouse and click 'Copy.'
4. Choose the word 'compose' and use your email address so you can get the message, but don't send the email just yet.
5. In the subject, you can leave that blank, but in the message area, click on the right side of the mouse and choose paste.
6. Now you can send this message out to yourself.
7. Check your email to see if you got the message that you sent yourself. You might not have received the message yet since it could take a few minutes for you to get it. Once you have the message, open it and Print.
I hope this really helps, even thought it might have been a long message.

I guess you mean you don't want the web page/mail program interface to be printed. I think you should just copy-paste your e-mail to a document and then print the document. That way you get only the email.
Cheers!

You could copy everything that's in the email and paste it into a Microsoft Word document if you want. That's a pretty easy way to do it.
