Surprised, but not really phased by such sensationalistic news. I live my life. At the time I heard the news I was involved in a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society's "Raly for Life" and did not have any desire to run catch the news. People suffering from cancer and finding a cure is more important than the death of some self centered egotistical greedy woman. I feel sorry for her daughter whose custody will be argued over for quite some time. The only reason the men will fight for custody is for the $$$$$ involved.

I was quite disbelieving, as she was so young, and it seems like just yesterday her son died...which was such a sad event, her having just given birth to a baby girl. I remember thinking that she must be having such mixed emotions with the two drastically different happenings going on at the same time.
I feel for the baby, she is going to have a crazy first couple of years of life.
I also wish people would stop saying that she died of a drug overdose. We don't know what she died of, but the fact is, no matter what killed her, she is still dead. Let her rest in peace, and let her daughter live in peace. She has enough nuttiness going on for a five month old as it is.

I was saddened by it b/c her daughter Danny has lost her brother and mother. Anna was obviously on drugs and someone who loved and cared about her should have gotten together an intervention. Anna had a lot of great qualities and her death is very tragic. And the television personalities have done an awful job of covering the news of her death. Especially, plastic surgery face Ryan Seacrest who did a really poor job of pretending he cared on E! news.

I was sad to hear that- she was too young to die but she had chosen a life style which is risky. I feel sorry for the little girl who will grow without a mother. This story is as sad as Tina Onassis’ story, she died 37 yo and left a daughter behind her who was 3 yo at that time, later she was raised by her dad and step mom who misused her fortune and did not do the best for her.

I was saddened by the news! I was also sick of people treating her like ****.Concerning her marriage to the old rich guy,he knew what he was doing, and I don't think anyone would know what it's like to be in your nineties and have a beautiful woman around, until your ninety yourself! He knew where she was from, and he liked helping her,but his son wanted her to have nothing, that was obvious. And about her son,I don't think there are many people out there who know that zoloft and opiates are a possibly fatal mix. The zoloft seems so benign, you just don't think it will have that effect. I won't go into detail about how i know that, let's just say it is my past. And to all the people who judge, what's that old saying...Don't judge a man/woman until you've walked a mile in their shoes!!!!!!!!!(and read the part in the Bible about judging others,it's not pretty)Not everyone can be as perfect as you!!!! I am sorry for Vicky's family, loved ones and daughter,I wish you all the best

I was shocked! I feel for the child caught in the middle of all this. 3 men are claiming to be the father. That "Prince" guy only stated that he was the father after Anna Nicole died..which really angered me, because i dont think hes really looking after the child's welfare..just himself.

R.I.P - Ms. Smith's death was a totally surprise to me. Happy to know she fulfilled most of her dreams with laughter and cheers. ANNA fell far from the tree of what ones life should be and for that i give her lots of respect for breaking the stereotype of others...

Only the good dies young...
She came and did her life and went back to tell others of her experiences...Nemesis

I am still shocked. Its overwhelming. I don't think it was her fault, yes she could have stopped herself from taking all those "pills" but you know look how much stuff she has gone through. The media is making her out as a bad person & shes not! She has just went through so much stuff & those meds were the only way she could cope with it all. Because of her Sons death & fight over whos the dad of Dannilynn. I don't think I could handle it either!

I was stunned. I never liked her, never hated her, but she always existed as part of the American pop culture. She was someone I was used to seeing on the cover of tabloids but I never bothered to read the articles. She was just always "there". And now, to think that she's dead... I can't think of a better word to describe my feelings than stunned.

What a shame.
