I'm a DJ looking at possibly playing over in Mumbai this year...
I heard tell a lot of the major clubs in Mumbai, or should I say India generally are run by the underworld...??
Any information about things I should watch out for in the Mumbai scene, let me know....

mumbai is not a good place for dj, people are narrow minded come to singapore here we got great clubs like ministry of sound ,zouk,stjames powerstation you cant get so great clubs in asia where people enjoy the night life they play great hiphops,r&b,electro etccccccccccc.

You can't say all the clubs are run by the Underworld. Some of them are and other get protection or pay the Mafia to run the operation smoothly.
Clubs in India need those protection since, most of the politicians are incapable of anything (if they are they probably will not be in power or getting a transfer)
So my advise to u is, don't get too deep into anything, or u may end up sleeping with the fishes.
