why do you go red?

recently i had an embarrasing moment and before i could compose myself i went bright red all the way to my ears why does that happen anyone know coz i would like to look a little bit cooler

Yes. It is that blood rushes to the face.
Like when you exercise. Blood pressure.

embarrasing moments cause the blood pressure to raise and thus causing a heating effect.....thus red on the skin
