Valentine day is connected with lovers.
On 14th February lovers express their love by sending cards and gifts red roses to their loved ones.
Saint Valentine belonged to Rome .There is some mystery regarding him but there is a story that he sent love notes to his girl friend on this day.
Heart shaped gifts and cards and cookies are sent. It is believed that the highest number of red roses are sold for Valentine's Day , in the world.
Media is responsible for making this day a global event.It is celebrated throughout the world.
