Strict, some years ago maybe, but now they are thinking of what they have seen on tv and different countries being in their country. I was there for some years and young men are struggling with the same "type" of growing up issues that boys AND girls worldwide go through. Growing up is never easy, no matter where you live. Some countries though have children that were never allowed to be children. Hearts are saddened, and hearts are helping. Just some of us can't do it fast enough to help children be children, some are growing up faster than they should. I am sure that "flerting" is not on the top of the list for some children.

In Saudi Arabia, boys and girls are kept separate from Primary school upto colleges/ universities; separate educational institutions and buses for males and females. Saudi girls do not work in offices or factories with males and are mostly household. Boys or their parents approach girls' parents for alliance; get settled and marriage performed for flirting. In routine life also there is seggregation of sexes.

100% Saudis are Muslims, practising Islam. In Islam all premarital and extramarital (unwed) sexual relations are specifically prohibited and barred. It is clearly written in Quran and teachings of Prophet as a grave sin punishable in hell continuously and a crime against their country punisbable with publicly lashing/ death by pelting stones.

They firmly believe and strictly practise the teachings & commands of Islam, despite severe critism from all others calling them fundamentalists and orthodox. Yet some males visit foreign countries to do something which is punishable in Saudi. Saudi Govt. cannot prosecute/ punish them for what is done beyond its territories.

The % of adultery, rape and other sexual crimes is zero or negligible there. Spouses are satisfied and happy. No AIDS/STD. No unwed mothers or bastards. Divorce % is also very very low. On divorce, they get married at the earliest, to keep their thoughts pious & clean.
