dont worry, i think most of us have this problem at the initial stage of wearing lenses. practise makes perfect. yup, look up and not look down.

try this method: open your eyes wide, hold the skin below your eye down with the middle finger and hold your eye lid up with the pointing finger (same hand)

then stare at one point and put in the lens.(use the other hand)

*put your lens on the tip of the finger.

my optician asked me to use my right hands to hold my eye lid when i am wearing the right side and left hand to put in the lens and then use left hand to hold the left eye lid when wearing the left side then use the right hand to put in the lens.

but i didnt follow his way, i find it difficult as i m a right hand person, i feel come comfortable to use left hands to open both eye lids and right hands to put on the lens for both eyes.

so find a method or a way that makes it most easy for u to wear your lens. cheers!

I had the same problems when I first got mine. It just takes practice. It helps if your hands are really dry and if you look up when you are putting the contact in.
