Nobody likes the Tankees, except for people who live in New York, and even some of them are Mets fans. When you think about it, the Yankees have so much money it's kinda cheap. They make a terrible move, like Joel Pinero, or Kevin Brown, but they have enough money that their 15 million a year really does not matter. Just spend some more.
P.S. Whoever said they have 24 more championships, you are wrong. They have 26 total, and the Red Sox have 6. 26-6=20.

I certainly do. I live in New York and I have been a Yankee fan all my life. I hate the Red Sox and their fans. GO YANKEES!!!!!

I definitely prefer the Yankees over the Red Sox. Red Sox fans call the yankees the evil empire, when they spend $50+ Million for the rights to negotiate with a Japanese Pitcher. They outbid the next highest team by $20 Million. Also, the yankees have 24 more championships.

I would venture to say only yankee fans.
Personally I root for The Red Sox over The Yankees all the time.
The Yankees ALWAYS have a good team, there is no denying that.

Not me. I'd have to go with the Sox b/c I'm from Pittsburgh, a blue-collar city, and Boston is more blue-collar than NYC. Plus, the Sox are perpetual underdogs, despite all their success, which is more fun to root for.
But it's all about the Pirates in the end anyway : )

the red sox USED to be cool, until they won the championship and all of a sudden it was the biggest fad ever to like them. But after missing the playoffs, i think they'll reside back to their rightful place.
