STEP 1: Remove any hard or wet mustard to prepare the fabric for cleaning. To remove hard mustard take a butter knife and carefully lift up the hardened mustard. To remove wet mustard use a paper towel and blot the stain.
STEP 2: Sponge the stain with a sponge of cool water.
STEP 3: Pour a small amount of powder detergent over the mustard stain. Use your fingertip to rub the detergent into the stain. Let the fabric sit for about five minutes to let the powder soak into the garment.
STEP 4: Rinse the garment in cool water to remove the powder detergent. Gently wring out the water and make sure that the detergent has been rinsed out.
STEP 5: Apply a stain remover to the mustard stain and wash normally. After washing check for the stain. If the stain is removed air dry the garment.
STEP 6: Repeat steps number two though five if the stain is still present. If the stain does not come out after several attempts take it to your local dry cleaner. Or purchase some tannin stain remover and use on the spot, the stain remover is handy to keep on hand since it takes care of coffee, tea, cola and red wine stains on clothes and carpeting

I've just always hosed it with Spray N Wash and washed on warm as usual. Always comes right out.
A good trick is after spraying it, fold the clothes over the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes before washing.

Hm...that is quite the predicament. I suggest that you throw some brown sugar on it with 3 tablespoons of milk and leave it out in the sun for 4 to 6 hours. Good luck!
