Just slightly...unless you are an athlete, then you can't really go by the weight guidelines.

For example...when I was a young teen I was 5'3'' and weighed 130 lbs. But I was an elite gymnast and wore a size 3. Most of my friends weighed about 110lbs and wore a size 7.

Don't get so hung up on the numbers, it's just a guideline.

I don't think so. You don't want to be super skinny. You gotta have some weight on yourself so you won't look anorexic. You sound just fine girlie. When people say their overweight...they are just usually the average size.

I'm only 5'1 and I weigh between 135-140 pounds. People may think I'm overweight but who cares. As long as you love yourself and how you look then that's all that matters.

Heck no! Where did you get an idea like that? I wish I could say i'm over weight at 122 pounds.....if I told you how much I weigh, you'd know you were VERY skinny!

Well, you need to calculate your BMI (body mass index) You have to convert your weight and length to kg and meter, so you are 55kg and 1.52m.

Your BMI is your weight divided by your length squared
so

55 / (1.52 x 1.52)

which equals

23. 8

According to your BMI you are normal weight, if it was lower than 19 you would be underweight and over 25 you would be overweight
